For our customer a contemporary and dynamic logistics service provider specialized in the container transport we are looking for expirienced and high motivated Road and Rail Freight Forwarder. Reliable and stable worldwide company is opening a new branch in North Poland.

Branch Development Manager (Container and Intermodal Transport)

Miejsce pracy: Gdynia

From a Branch Development Manager (Container and Intermodal Transport) we expect:

  • management of new branch in North Poland
  • representing the company’s interests among clients
  • support young employees in daily work
  • organization of FTL and LTL – container transport in domestic and international relations
  • monitoring and controlling the implementation of transport orders caring for the high quality of transport services offered and their timeliness building long-term cooperation with carriers
  • solving current problems related to the transport of goods
  • constant analysis and cost optimization
  • supervision over forwarding documentation
  • cooperation with the Company’s headquarters in Holland

Your duties:  

  • minimum 3, 4 years experience in container and intermodal transport on similar position
  • ability to manage a team
  • practical knowledge in the field of transport services and knowledge of the TSL market
  • experience in the implementation of forwarding orders route planning skills in FTL and LTL
  • welcome general education: transport / logistics
  • organizational, analytical skills and resistance to stress
  • independence in action and decision-making
  • developed communication skills
