Stanowisko: Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:
 

• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data
• Selecting the proper machine learning method for given problem
• Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers and regression models  using machine learning techniques
• Creating and using anomaly detection systems
• Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
• Extending data collection procedures
• Doing ad-hoc data analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
• Constant tracking of performance of designed models

Qualifications:
 

• Very good understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Networks etc.
• Experience with Python-based data science toolkits (numpy, pandas, scipy, TensorFlow, etc).
• Optionally experience in R/Matlab, with possibility to switch to python-based tool
• Experience with data visualization tools – best option are python-based tools (e.g. matplotlib)
• Good applied statistics skills, such as analysis of distributions, statistical testing, regression, time series decomposition etc.
• Good communication skills
• Basic knowledge of SQL (MsSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB is an advantage
• Good scripting and programming skills are an advantage
• Experience in ML techniques for industry is an advantage
